Biography

Alex began his theatre training in 2011 with Stagecoach Theatre Arts School Malta and is currently in his final year of his Bachelor’s degree in Theatre Studies at the University of Malta, after completing a year studying Drama and Theatre Studies at Trinity College Dublin, Ireland. Training credits include the Stagecoach Troupes, FM Youth Theatre, Studio18’s Creative Lab, Mentorship Program, and Playwriting Program, Teatru Salesjani’s Roaring Voices, and more. Performance credits include Don Mathias in The Jew of Malta and Edward Sergeant in Skylight; The Little Prince in The Little Prince, Joseph and Guzè (understudy) in Ilbieraħ ‘l Quddiem and Ensemble in After Medea (FMYouth Theatre); Mr. B.Knuckle in The Case of the Carob Killer and Zack/The Boy in Dear Pete (Studio18); Chorus in the pantomime Robin Hood and Ensemble in Mamma Mia (FM Theatre Productions).

He has most recently played Valentine in Roaring Voices’ debut production of The Two Gentlemen of Verona (Teatru Salesjan), Donalbain in Unifaun Theatre Productions’ Macbeth, Ares in Studio18’s DripFeed, Anastasius in Teatru Malta’s Pope Joan and Costas in Teatru Manoel’s From Rona With Love.

Alex also enjoys watching TV and movies, and reading graphic novels… though often is the case that his “To read/watch” list is much longer than his “Have read/watched” one…
