Biography

After completing a 3 year course at MTADA (Malta Theatre Academy for Dramatic Arts), Moira has been involved in numerous theatre production both in English and Maltese. Plays include The Collector by John Fowls, The Dark at the top of the Stairs by William Inge, Crimes of the Heart by Beth Henely, God’s Favorite by Neil Simon, Servant of Two Masters by Carlo Goldoni, and Wife begins at Forty by Ray Cooney,  

Maltese version of Colombe by Jean Aneuilh, Funny Money by Ray Cooney, L’ Avare by Moliere, Ewripide’s Hekube, Aristophanes’ Lysistrata and Shakespeare’s Macbeth. Other plays in the Maltese language include Menz by Francis Ebejer, L-Ghasfur tac-Comb by Oreste Calleja, Meta Tghajjat il-Kokka bil-Lejl by Joe Vella Bondin, Hajjitna by Gwann Abela ofm, Ghax Hekk and Tislieh is-Serp by Vincient Vella, Il-Mostru ta’ Selmun by John Suda, Friefet u Barrin by Lino Grech, Il-Madonna tac-Coqqa by Guze’ Diacono, Il-Kerrejja by Guze’ Chetcuti, Mid-Diaru ta’ Sarah and l-Ghanja tac-Cinju by Joe Friggieri, Hajja mill-Gdid by Anthony Portelli, Mixja fid-Dlam by Mario Micallef, Rewwixta by Oliver Friggieri, Hekk Sejra  and Birthday Party by Gino Muscat Azzopardi and Politira by Keith Borg 

For some years Moira was very much involved in local popular TV series.  Which include main roles in F’Bahar Wiehed, Il-Familja Grech and Ingroppi by Lino Grech, Kugini by Ray Attard, 506 written by Mark Calleja, It-Tfal Jigu bil-Vapuri by Oliver Friggieri, Salib it-Toroq by Frederick Zammit and Midimbin by John Suda. Apart from these roles which vary from dramatic to comedy she was also called to interpret characters for a documentary with both BBC Scotland and Rete 4 and featured in movies Phobia by Louis Cuschieri and Do Re Mi Fa by Chris Zarb.
