Biography

Ileana has trained with Imagine Arts, Mixta Drama, attended workshops organised by Darc Productions and successfully obtained distinctions in her Grade 1 and Grade 3 Trinity exams while achieving a Merit in Grade 4. Between 2015 and 2017, she  played one of the main roles on Tereża as well as had a small part in Rajt ma Rajtx. She’s also performed in a number of local Christmas pantomimes, music videos, local passion plays and most notably won the award for Breakthrough Upcoming Talent at the Malta Television Awards in 2017. In December 2017 she had a main role in  the musical Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Ileana has also acted in Maltese Films such as Id-Destin, dramedies like Il-Miraklu ta’ Ħal-Saflieni and the short film L-Aħħar Lejl f`Dan l-Istazzjon which was based on Oliver Friggieri`s poem ‘Night-time at the Station’ which later was launched at the Malta Mediterranean Literature Festival.
