Debbie Scerri



Debbie is a popular face in the Maltese music scene. In 1997, she was the ambassador for Malta at the Eurovision Song Contest with ‘Let Me Fly’ which brought her multiple successes and opportunities in Australia, Canada, the United States and Cyprus in collaboration with Cypriot artists. She won multiple prestigious awards both locally and abroad. Debbie also worked with multiple musicians with some of the best exponents in Malta, including the Spiteri Lucas Brothers and Yada Dance Company. We also know her as a presenter for multiple television and radio programmes .Among her vast repertoire, there are the albums `Having You`,  `Tbissima`, and  ‘Tgħhannieqa mingħhand il-Maltin’ and  the CD singles `Born to Love`, `Let me Fly`, `Era the Dance Show` uand `Perfect Timing`.  Recently, she has also been chosen by the Indian High Commission in Malta to interpret a popular song to commemorate 150 years since the birth of Mahatma Gandhi. Debbie is also part of the popular choir, Animae Gospel Choir.
