10 Years of Teatru Malta

The 2026 programme is not just a season. It is a statement. A love letter to the past 10 years and for the ones to come. With Għaxra, we return to our roots, taking over Teatru Domus and transforming it into a black box theatre for emerging directors. Żejtun is where the X marks the spot this year. A homecoming sealed with a kiss to where we began. From Ir-Rebħa tal-Ħuta li Ttir, to hosting the DoSEL – Drama of Smaller European Languages festival, to Ġimgħa l-Ħabs, we continue building bold, urgent work. Trikki Trakki and Ġambori return. Boċċi the Musical rolls back by popular demand. Teatru Redjifjuxin evolves into radio drama with Timtax il-Jum. And our repertoire grows with MITI MITI, Gutz, Oħxon, Republikgħana and Drago.
