Biography

Philip Leone-Ganado is a director, actor and producer. He trained at the London Academy of Music in Dramatic Arts (LAMDA) from where he graduated with an MA in Directing in 2020. He is the founder of WhatsTheirNames Theatre, best known for its Shakespeare in the Pub (2016-2018) and Shakespeare in the Garden (2020-present) series, as part of which he has to date produced and directed Two Gentlemen of Verona, Twelfth Night, Much Ado About Nothing, Measure for Measure, A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Romeo and Juliet. Further directing credits include: Constellations (2013), Image of an Unknown Young Woman (2016), Skieken f’Tiġieġ (2022), sitt ġrajjiet u naqra għala spiċċajna (kif spiċċajna) (2022) and the promenade-audio project It Happened Here: Stella (2022). As an actor, credits include Bariona (2010), The Pride (2015), Romeo and Juliet (2015), An Enemy of the People (2018) and Class (2022).
