Biography
Moritz Zavan Stoeckle began his Bharatanatyam training in 1995. In 2013 his Barathanatyam solo debut was presented in Venice. Since than he has performed several solo programs in India and Europe. In 2018 he obtained an MA in Performing Arts “Dance” with a dissertation on multiMgenre choreographies that merge Indian classical dance and contemporary dance. Currently he is working as a freelancer with several theatre and dance companies in Malta and abroad both as dancer and lighting designer. He works as assistant lecturer at Mcast, Insitute for the Creative Arts, in Malta, where he teaches light design.
